Beef- chopped up
Onion - chopped ½ slices
Brown in peanut butter
Add onion and 1 tin tomatoes and a can of water
Season with: chopped chives, garlic pepper, mixed spice, paprika, chicken stock powder, all purpose seasoning.
Add chopped carrots (and anything else desired - potatoes, beans etc).
Boil and simmer for 1 hour - 1½ hours at low temperature.
Dumplings
Once stew cooked, use a fried bread mix/scone type recipe.
Mix up as usual and drop tablespoon-fulls onto top of boiling stew.
Cover with lid - usually takes approximately 10 minutes to cook.
Be careful not to use too high a temperature so stew won't burn on the bottom.
