The Magical Recipe Tree

Welcome

The idea for storing my most used recipes online came after a period of having my recipes and cookbooks tucked away in storage. The ease and convenience of having them available at the push of an internet button was simply to good to resist! As much as I love cooking and experimenting in the kitchen, I didn't create the majority of recipes on this site, I merely love to use them, but I'll attempt to document every recipe I know the origin of.
As a pescetarian, the selection of recipes will reflect this- but there will still be a few family recipes included from my pre-pesc years... though I aim to convert these to pesc-friendly dishes at some stage!

Pops' Tuna Casserole

400g tin tuna in spring water
4 slices of buttered bread
Parmesan cheese (sprinkles) and colby cheese
2 eggs
450 ml milk
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Salt, pepper and paprika

Cut buttered bread into strips and cut off crusts.
Use these strips to line the bottom of baking dish.
Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the top.
Place half the tuna on top.
Add another layer of bread strips (the rest).
Place the remaining tuna over the top.

Pour milk into bowl and beat eggs into it.
Add the seasoning and Worcestershire sauce.
Beat together well.

Pour milk mixture into baking dish.
Over the top, add plenty of colby cheese and Parmesan cheese.
Sprinkle with paprika.

Bake at 180ÂșC for 1 hour.
